Fed: Howard s UN antipathy nothing new Keating

Former prime minister PAUL KEATING has likened the current prime minister's reluctance
to admit to a stolen generation of Aboriginal children to what he says was Mr HOWARD's
stance on apartheid.

In a broad attack on the prime minister on a range of issues, Mr KEATING's accused
him of never being interested in human rights.

Mr KEATING told Channel Ten Mr HOWARD didn't worry about people's rights and that was
why he'd opposed previous Labor government proposals on apartheid.
