Vic: Second drive by shooting in 24 hours

MELBOURNE, Feb 23 AAP - A man was shot and wounded by a gunman in a car today in
Melbourne's second drive-by shooting within 24 hours.

Police said the victim in his late 20s was in a vehicle in Riversdale Road, in east
suburban Hawthorn, shortly after 10am when the shot was fired by a man in a blue Honda Prelude
that sped away.

Police said the man's wound was minor and he was being treated in Box Hill Hospital.

A spokeswoman said the Honda carried the same number plate as a dark green Nissan 200 SX
two-door coupe used in yesterday's incident …
